Lately, the more I go through my closet, the more I realize I’m craving pieces that balance classic structure with an easy, everyday kind of elegance. For this Style Edit, I’m sharing the must have items to recreate the look I styled around this coat straight from my closet.
I layered the coat over a thick knit grey sweater (like the GAP CashSoft Shaker-Stitch Boyfriend Sweater) for a cozy, textured balance and, underneath, added a crisp Ralph Lauren Cotton Broadcloth Shirt to keep the look tailored and refined. I then opted for the GAP Pleated Mini Skort for a playful twist, which I paired with Ralph Lauren’s Exclusive Bloomingdale’s Socks and my go-to Aqua Hanah Loafer Flats for a polished preppy touch. To finish, I reached for the Balenciaga Bistro Mini Basket with its unique woven texture and just the right amount of edge.
